Hi, I’m Amber!
Tupperware Salads and the Hidden Barrier to Office Escape
Is THIS what I’m going to be doing every day until I retire?!
Queue soul death. Nope, this can’t be! I can’t comprehend spending the rest of my days in this cubicle doing work that doesn’t inspire me. This will kill me.
These were my thoughts all those years ago when I looked out into my future at my high-paying, coveted corporate career. I knew I needed out. I knew there had to be an alternative to sitting in front of my computer, eating salad out of Tupperware, and dreaming of escape.
I needed freedom to live a life that looked much different than the one I had painstakingly prepared for myself. Freedom of time and location were at the top of my why list. My nana’s health was declining, and I desperately wanted to spend more time with her.
This week on Profit for Joy® TV, I’m sharing the experience that propelled me into becoming an entrepreneur and the importance of being aware of your “why”!
